PULLING THE PLUG... I've decided to end mashnote. Basicly, i don't have the time anymore to concentrate on doing loads of reviews, etc... It's been fun while it lasted, but i have to stay fair to bands, labels & promo teams. The amount of review material has been building up to an extent that it's becoming impossible to cover without huge delays. And the fact that my professional and personal life demands more time, made me decide to quit the whole thing. I have to thank all the reviewers, everyone who ever contributed, send in promos, came to shows,... and most importantly, read the zine. thanx!

I'm in the process of "hiring" some new reviewers...so reviews will be updated a lot faster. Also, part of site will be revamped, some parts deleted, etc... but that's for in a couple of weeks. So keep checking us out.

Lots of exciting new things planned. First off the label is going to get busy as fuck. And i'm working on the new label site too. Shit needs to get revamped.
Now for the zine part. I'm going to fix our messageboard to get rid of all the spambots, and fix/add some code here and there to make things run even smoother.
I have a bunch of nice interviews in the pipeline too, but as always, contributions are welcome. Bye.

Last week i put the new mailorder site online for the label & zine. Just click on "shop" in the menu and go ahead...buy something. Or just browse or or or. And there are LOADS of interviews coming up btw.

Yup yup yup. Editorials are not so frequent as i want them to be. The truth is, there''s so much to do, so many things happening that i forget about this section of the site.
I just got the news from the pressing plant that the Bronze/Kazuamsumaki test pressings should be on their way to me soon. I''m very excited to hear the result. We''ve waited long enough for it.
Apart from that, we still got the t-shirt thing lined up and probably some buttons too. But with so many thrilling releases planned, things get hectic and well...expensive too. Be patient, it will be worth it.

So this week my lovely girlfriend gave birth our son Alexander. This wonderful event caused some delays on the review department. But i'm sure all you lovely people don't hold that against me. I'll catch up soon. thanx.

A new year, a new site. It was about time this shit got online, although it's not entirely finished. I still have some bits and pieces to add etc... But that'll happen one at a time on this new path we took. So yeah, finally, after 5 other designs (and probably better) which bored me after a whilen this one will stay for some time. And if you come across some errors or weird things, then please contact us about it. And i do hope you'll stay with us, and see were we will end together.
I the meantime we here at the Mashnote HQ are still waiting for our real baby to arrive any moment now. So if that has happened, the updating will be a bit slow for a week or so.
Anyway, enjoy 2006.
